Hi everyone. Do you all remember me? Its been a long time and I apologise for my abscence. Hello to all the new members who wont know me. I’m another one of those LBA finatics!
After hering about the over-run at NM yesterday from a friend who’d flown over and seen the foam on the runway I jumped in the car and raced up to see what was going on. Upon arrival at the end on rnwy 32 all seemed normal. Though as time passed it became apparent the accident occured at the other end of the runway… the end of 14 and over the hill out of sight from my location. I travelled up to the other end and embarked on a 2mile treck through mass undergrowth and more mud than you could shake a stick at to catch a glimpse of the Citation 3 and a take few snaps. Unfortunately as I arrived so did the airport police and ground crews to make the plane safe for ‘park up’ over night i presume. I was discrete!! Any way here are a couple of snaps and a beauty pic of the MYT 757 G-PIDS that landed shortley afterwards mentioned in the other LBA post.

hi all – the big 3 options have been outlined – from the top of my head the Astraeus was delayed til about 1510 or something, so if it was later n it’ll b likely to have been this
a bit more info would be nice tho…
What time – both runways were used at somepoint today…
Was it approaching or taking off – you notice this over Bradford – i’m about 5/6 miles to the west and c anything on a POL1X, NELSA1X, WAL1X and 75% of the arrivals onto 32 route this way
Another possability – Ryanair? Maybee a B738 on the run – unusual but not too uncommon!

I’d guess Iberworld or Astreaus.
LTE have some A320 / A321’s in an all white with blue tail and a V but as far as I know al the 75’s are in the red scheme which rules them out.

Hi There.
I’ve been all over the place. I’ve actually been meaning to e-mail you Softlad.
The mysterious aircraft over Bradford today COULD have been one of the following…
1. LTE990 LTE INTERNATIONAL AIRWAYS from Mahon. Shedueled arrival at LBA today was 1300 hours. Boeing 757-200.
2. IWD3449 IBERWORLD AIRLINES from Arrecife. Shedueled arrival into LBA today was 13.35 hours. Airbus A320
3. 5W572 ASTRAEUS from Malta. Shedueled arrival into LBA today was 14.10 hours. Boeing 737-300.
I am nsure on the colour schemes of numbers 1 and 2 and don’t have time to check so i’d stick me money on the Iberworld!!
Then again it could have been none of em!
LBA RULES… what sort of time did you see the a/c over Bradford and could you tell the type of a/c?
Oh and bye the way… LBA does Rule!
