EuroManx, the Isle of Man’s airline, announced today (10 October, 2005) a restructuring of the company, which includes a working capital injection of £12 million. This cash injection is a major boost to the further development of the carrier, which last week confirmed its winter schedule.
Effective 01 October, EuroManx will focus on its core services from London City Airport, Manchester, Liverpool, Dublin and Belfast City to the Isle of Man. It will also standardise on its 30-seat Dornier 328 turboprop and Bombardier Dash 8-200 and 300 series aircraft.
EuroManx is being headed by CEO John Seymour, who is assisting the Board in putting the company on a firm platform for growth.
“We are committed to the Isle of Man. Our dedicated and focused team at EuroManx are fully supportive of our efforts and initiatives. Our staff and Board realise that we enjoy a loyal and dedicated following from our customers who regularly travel to and from the Island,” Mr Seymour said.
Mike Farge, in addition to his role as CEO of Corporate Jet Services, trading as Club328, has joined the Board of EuroManx. Mike, who has 40 years of aviation experience, will help steer the ongoing strategic development for the Ronaldsway-based airline
Well are Euromanx getting their act together? Those silly routes have gone. RJ’s have seem to dissapear too. Either they will return in the summer, or not return at all. They have stopped ops from GWY too it seems. Concentrating soley on IOM is a good thing. Hope this is a new page of the Encyclopedia which is Euromanx!
