I flew on one of the airlines there, but it was in an F27, an a/c which i also flew in austia.

I know they fly into SXM, where are they based? If UA hadn’t signed that agreement with USAirways, I probably would have flown UA from LAX to SJU via ORD or JFK, then flown Liat from SJU to SXM. Thankfully, that agreement came in just in time, and I used my UA mileage to get business class on US, LAX-CLT-SXM and SXM-PHL-LAX on the return.
