Pullmantur is the main tourist operator in Spain. A couple of day ago the first B747-300 (from Ansett), called “ilusions”, from the brand new Pullmantur air landed in Madrid. The aim of this airline is to serve as charter airline to the caribbean, to carry passengers to Pullmantur Cruises to his recently purchased “Pacific Princess” (Love Boat) which will make weekly cruises from Santo Domingo, main destination to the Spaniards in the Caribbean.

Probably at the final stages of their Iberia deals, but initially 100% of the crew were not Spaniards. Never flown with them, but this news came out everyday on the newspapers.

Usually Atlanta have to source a certain amount of cabin crew from the base country of the a/c – so a certain %age of the crews would have been spaniards – can check this out for you if you want…

And also operated by Air Atlanta in behalf for Iberia. Funny flights, iceland crews and fight attendants at that time, for a Spananiards passengers who didn´t speak english and of course no Icelander. Do you image it?; The plane was a regular flyer to Cuba: The people complained for flying with these crews and the deal with Air Atlanta was cancelled.
