Boeing 747-438ER,the sixth and final 747 400ER on order for Qantas will be the new Wunala dreaming. VH-OEJ is planned for delivery to Qantas at Avalon in late July.It will have its fuselage painted red at Seattle before being ferried to AVEX/Aviation interiors at New Iberia,Louisiana,where the Wanula Dreaming scheme will be completed.

That would have been years ago, using the SP’s. They didn’t fly the 744 into there, more recently?

they sure did.
they used to use the 747sp on nonstop services to SFO if i am correct.

You are correct Monster, they do not. I was actually going by what the tarmac tour operator at SYD said when I was there last month. Perhaps they used to fly there?

GD. Qantas dont fly to SFO.
if your in europe you will see it often also, as the ER is serving LHR now too.
