Airport of the year?

IATA announced there Airport of the year today… DUBAI!.

Robc, I don’t know what you see in MUN. I flew LHR-MUC-ATH with Lufthansa this summer, and I was thoroughly disappointed. The overall structure of the airport is nice, but where are the facilities? Any airport that was built post 1990 should not be this boring. I was also disturbed by the fact that I was flying 2 inter-European segments, and I wound up on the street practically getting off my LHR flight, then had to go throught security and all that over again, to get on my ATH segment. What is that? Finally, LH’s lounge totally sucked, compared to the one in FRA and LHR even.

Yeah im gonna go with either CPH or Munich, both are modern, clean and efficient!

I think LHR will come about 5th or 6th in the list. Usually does.
