I don´t know if we ever talked about cargo in our cities´ airports. Well, as far as SCQ is concerned, the major goods handled are clothing (Zara clothing headquarters are nearby), and frozen fish. Main operator is DHL using B727, A300 and B757, and an old Convair. Other operator is a local Spanish company (Swiftair) using a small Brasilia. I include the Convair pic, taking off yesterday.

EGNM: I have only ever seen 2 MET choppers at Fairoaks. The ones based here are the South Eastern Police air Support Unit. They cover London, Surrey and Sussex.
The two that are here are Registrered G-SEPA and G-SEPB.
The two in the pic the LGWboy shows: G-METD, is now G-SEPB, and G-METC, is no longer at Fairoaks. I am unsure as to what Happen to this aircraft?
Sorry I can’t be of more help to you.

Yeah I saw one of those Helicopters last night, blimming thing!!!! Talk about low! No more than 1,500ft above my house, 2000 maybe? Hovering above my house for about 20 mins.
The south East police helicopters are based at Fairoaks, I take it then? I managed to get the reg of the helicopter from last night — G-METD.
Heres a pic from it lifting off from its base:

My nearest airport is Fairoaks… no cargo aircraft come in here… Just Police helicopters and small prop aircraft… But what A330Crazy has put on his list pretty much sums up what comes in at LHR… Not sure about the Westair one though????

Both Delhi and Mumbai are big in cargo operations, all majors like Fed Ex, DHL, UPS, EVA, LH Cargo, Korean Cargo etc. operate to both DEL and BOM.

At CYYC we get daily service from DHL (727), Emery Worldwide (727), UPS (A300) and FedEx (A300). CargoLux flies in 3 times a week with their 747s and the occasional An-124 stops by with parts for the nearby oil patch. Although it doesn’t really count as cargo, we get C-17s and the like from the RAF as they fly supplies and equipment to CFB Suffield (2 hour drive to the south of Calgary) where British troops train on a regular basis.

At BSL, we get twice weekly Korean Air Cargo 743’s from Seoul, as well as DHL and FedEx having 727’s based here.
Swissair Cargo used to have a daily Gemini DC-10 to ORD, but I don’t think Swiss still have that in operation.
There’s also the occasional Antonov 124, bringing parts for the Peugeot factory at Mulhouse, while Air France Cargo and SIA Cargo also have offices (although I can’t recall having seen either of their aircraft here)

At LGW, the main cargo operator there is Das Air Cargo I think. Im not sure on the cargo, but they do have a few flights a day.

Leeds = nothing! – well not regular flights – we get a lot of fish in the holds of the LBA-LHR flights – We used to have a daily B721 seriver with Whitestar, the a B733 of Bluebird to Cologne on behalf of UPS

East Midlands is one of the busiest cargo airports in the UK, last year it beat MAN and Stansted!
Problem is that most flights are at night, DHL have a huge facility with 757, 727 and A300’s plus Gemini MD-11 and Kalitta 747 flights. We also get AN-124’s occasionally and I’ve heard Lufthansa are to start an MD-11 flight through EMA on the way to JFK.
Apart from that UPS have a few regular services and Channel Express are regulars.
