Yes the North Sea oil industry makes Aberdeen one of the most expensive places to live in the UK outside London. The BA gold card owners probably had them in real gold too.

Mongu, what do you mean by, “first to be targeted by LCC’s?” What are LCC’s?

ABZ – Aberdeen.

The London-Aberdeen run was one of the first to be targeted by the LCC’s because it was the route with the honour of having the highest proportion of passengers with BA Gold cards!

Aberdeen is the gateway to the North Sea oil rigs and most workers are do a shift pattern of 3 weeks on, 2 week off…or a variation thereof.

He must be at a 45 degree angle with the runway! What airport is that?

I think I feel sick!

The back end of a 757 can be a bit choppy on the best of days.

I bet the 4 doors were an interesting place to sit on this one!
