It is a nice airport , i flew with AIR 2000 ….11 HOUR TRIP… called in at st lucia on the way ,was knackered after that , but what a beautiful place antigua is, the best holiday i have ever had , the airport had lots of different types of aircraft going in day in day out, LIAT , BRITISH AIRWAYS , & lots of charter airlines from all over the place , even the USAF made the odd stop there ,i seen at least 3 C 141 Starlifter aircraft on the tarmac , dont know if any of you knew , but their is an american base on the island , not sure what role it does , but you cant get near it …… looked it a bit top secret to me , got no idea what they do there?
