Apparently DHL is shortly going to begin operations with my personal favourite, the MD-11, should make the DHL ramp at EMA even more interesting, I only hope they don’t materialise in DHL’s revolting custard yellow colour scheme!

I think a wet lease is where the lessor supplies the flight crew and other personnel. On a dry lease only the aircraft is supplied.

They are supposedly being aquired on a ‘dry lease’, don’t know the difference between wet and dry leasing, maybe someone can explain?

If DHL are only just acquiring them, they’re hardly likely to be painted in teh old livery, are they… so, yes, if they’ve only just got ’em, they’ll be in yellow. 🙁

I like it.
However I’m affraid that the MD11 will look strange in the Ugly yellow livery.

Are then going to be operated by DHL?
Gemini already operate MD-11’s for DHL, seen at EMA regularly although only Sunday morning in daylight really. If they are in the yellow colours it will certainly luck …er…interesting!
