Thanks!
Should be interesting who will get the big orders from the new Iraqi government. Boeing or AirBus?

Please don’t do that Andy…..Those models that you posted the other day looked great and so much detail! These bigger models are very rarely detailed to that extent. I shall find out more about those Gemini Jets? I’ve never seen them “in the flesh”.

Like all these things I guess its down to personal taste. Boring if we all liked the same liveries.

At the risk of upsetting the BCal fan club, what was so great about it?
They seemed to fly most of their long haul flights from London, not Scotland.

No Ren not me! But I wonder what happened to the models from the Iraqi Airlines HQ in Baghdad….I think I can guess.

Interflug,
Do you have some little 1/50th scale looters making off through central Baghdad with the engines ? (lol):D

Can you email a pic of the Bcal one Neil?

Thanks Andy…..Latest additions are a 1/50 737-200 in BA “Landor” colours, a 1/72 DC8-43 in 60s Alitalia colours, unusual in that it has full undercarriage instead of sitting on a display stand, a 1/72 DC8-63 in VIASA livery, and last but not least a 1/50 B-CAL A310, I love that scheme on the A310.

well spotted sir!

From that original picture, you can actually tell which series of 737 it is, without the engines. If you look at the tail fin, the 300 series on had a “dorsal” fin extention at the base of the tail fin. It is missing from this model which would make it a 200 series, or in some very rare cases, a 100.

I actually don’t like the colours. For some reason they remind me of the Libyan Airline. It may look nicer if painted the countries falg colour
