Hi Can any plane enthusiast or ATCO tell me which airline the above call sign refers to –think it is probably a cargo plane but not sure

I never did put the answer to this ———its Das Air They are a Cargo outfit I think from Uganda and they go in and out of LGW and often rumble over here in their old DC10!

hiya – another view is it may be a foreign a/c’s registration abbreviated – for example a local robing here is known as G-BXOR, but atc ofter referr to it as Golf Oscar Romeo, so the A could be the first part of a 2 letter reg prefex such as A6- is for the emerates – just a thought…

No we had stop stop using it a few years back as a Russian operator had something similar.Bit of a joke by all accounts as whoever they were only had a few aircraft ??

I think it is a private callsign.As in the last three letters of the registration.Airlines and cargo operators normally use a word such as Speedbird or Tourjet.
