What's happened to BMI – MME-LHR

I should know the answer to this, but checking on the arrivals today for Teesside, our BMI flights from Heathrow have been cut to just ‘one’ from ‘three’.

I know weekend LHR-MME runs have less PAX so sometimes these flights gets cancelled, but TWO in one day?

Can anyone explain what is going on? Or is the new summer timetable only allowing for one flight per day on a Saturday?

If this is the case, its further evidence of a sad state of affairs at Teesside.

Leeds’s winter flights went down to 1x daily on a Sat at one point two – not as many buisness pax is the main reason – slots congestionand a higher summer a/c utilisation due to summer weekend charter services offered by the mainline fleet is prob the main reason – ie you F100 has to sub for an A320/1 which is operationg from a regional airport on the sun runs
