This photo shows just how great the Airbus A300 Supertransporter (Beluga) is.

Being pulled out of the giant overhead storage is the nose of an Airbus A321-200 aircraft which is being made for China Northern Airlines.

why not?

Boeing does the same with trains and trucks in the US.

I am amazed that it would be cost effective to manufacture aircraft with this type of transportation neccesary between assembly facilities.
