This 747 from China Airlines has been grounded while trying to refuel at Frankfort airport by the local safety and maintenance crew.
Chinese mechanics cleared the bird for take off after a professionnal fix in China. This fan might have been hit by rocks or ice.
The engine had to be changed and 2 other ones too on the same bird.

The 747 has to land to refuel since flyning from China with only 3 engines raised the consumption dramaticaly.The final destination was Paris but they ran out of fuel.
The fan was blocked with seat belts to prevent any rotation in flight.
Can you believe that

With China airlines , safety is a priority !!!!
