Good ,Bad, and the Ugly

The title of this thread sums up my trip to Dusseldorf this week.

The Good.

We took off from STN at 6.40 on Buzz flight, BAe 146 G-UKHP dont remember the flight as I slept all the way.
The weather in DUS was sunny and quite warm for March, we stacked up with food and water from shop in airport and made our way to Besucherterrasse, had a great day spotting with good views of aprons and take offs and landings.
DUS airport is modern and spacious with good shops and cafes, with a spectators gallery at each end, that is terminals A,B,C at one end of airport and the new LTU terminal at other end, both adjacent to each end of the runway.
We stayed at Ibis Hotel in the town that night and resumed spotting next day, overdosed on CRJs and BAe146s mostly Eurowings , weather was warm and sunny, another good day………… until!

The Bad

At about 17.00hrs we made our way to book in desk for our return flight home only to be told that our flight was cancelled until 09.55 Frid morning, apparently Buzz crew didnt turn up for that particular flight, so a mad rush to phone home and work as I was expected there at 06.55 on Frid morning, that sorted it was across to Buzz ticket desk to book hotel for night………..then!

The Ugly

The pr*ck Id been spotting with had had another flight booked from LGW the next morning and made no bones about sounding off to the girl behind the desk, she didnt have a clue what he was talking about but still he blamed her , as much as I did to shut him up , after all it wasnt her fault she was only trying to get us some accomodation for the night .

The next morning our flight came in on time G-UKAG and as we boarded bird brain verbally laid into the cabin crew, the fact that those girls were working their last day for Buzz didnt matter to him.
He didnt stop moaning all thru the flight home how Buzz had inconvenienced him and how he’d missed his flight from LGW, and all thru it they were polite and kept smiling, I wont be going to far with that self centred little pr*t again, it’d be a different story if it was his job on the line.
