Just wondering if anyone here knows why the titling on the new AMM livery has changed from the nice mint-greeny looking colour to scarlet red!?
The green ‘air2000.com’ titles seem to only be on the first lot of aircraft to have been painted, while a new Airbus and the Boeing 763 aircraft have been painted in this slightly revised, red scheme.
Any ideas!?!
Cheers,
LGKR

I think that they are just going for a slighty different look on a few aircraft. I have just had a look through the Air 2000 file on a.net, and as far as I can make out, only 3 in the AMM fleet currently have the green titles. OOAW, OOAV and OOOX.
Take Go as an example… not all of their fleet was the same color, nearly evey aircraft had a different paint scheme on it.

well, I’m less cynical! the pictures have the same ID number on airliners.net bar thew last digit so perhaps there were two similar AMM departures from Faro at the time!?! 🙂
I agree, I like the turquoise-ee colour more than the red, matches the cowlings and tail at least doesnt it!?!?

God only knows but the the Turquoise looks far superior and goes better with the assortment of colours stretched along the fuselage.
The two pics you have linked to could also be the same pic.. but edited. Everything is in the same place, the only difference being the difference in air2000.com colours and the aircraft in the background – Airbus A320s/A321s of Airtours and a plain white Monarch.
