Iberia made a survey among Spaniards to design a new livery a couple of years ago, and surprisely, most of of the people interviewed said that they didn´t want any change in the livery. Initially the livery wanted to emphasize the light, brightness of Spanish sun, colourful happiness and passion….of Spain, and bla, bla bla, clitches. However I think it needs a bit of a change from the same concept. And uniforms need to be change inmediately. But if the change will be a white boring fuselage with plain letters, I prefer the old colours.

Yes, the Iberia colour scheme reminds me of some of those chic 1980s designs where the colours were very overwhelming and compact. Definitely one of the most distinguishable liveries around in Europe.

Although they’ve been around a while I still think that the Iberia colours look good.
