Concorde in emergency landing
An Air France Concorde has made an emergency landing in Nova Scotia, Canada, after developing an engine problem.
The plane, carrying 47 passengers and nine crew on a flight from Paris to New York, landed “without incident,” Air France said in a statement.
“Everything is being done to transport all the passengers to New York… as soon as possible,” the statement said.
Air France and British Airways both grounded the supersonic jets after an Air France Concorde crashed on take-off from Paris, killing 113 people, in July 2000.
Concorde flights resumed in November 2001.

RE: EMERGENCY ON CONCORDE
Did Air France and BA open a new Concorde service Paris / London to Nova Scotia, Canada?
Don’t know why anyone would take the Concorde, it can’t be for the time aspect, it takes a long time to travel from Nova Scotia, Canada to New York, USA.

RE: EMERGENCY ON CONCORDE
yeah but concorde probably has suffered a lot of incidents in its time, if you think about it, its only sice the Y2K crash, that all things concorde related have been talked about and made into media hype.
You get things going wrong with aircraft each day, but not all are broadcast on news programs. I think that its such a famous aircraft adds to the fact too.

RE: EMERGENCY ON CONCORDE
Concordes days must now be surely numbered as they seem to be suffering quite a few incidents in thepast 6 months or so.
