Can anyone tell me the current state of play regarding the Spectators area at Manchster. i am due to be there on 7th March, after flying from LHR to Glasgow on the 6th and Glasgow to MAN on the 7th. I am there for 2 nights so its going to be a bit dull if i cannot do any spotting and no doubt i will look a bit suspicious wandering around the airport for 2 days.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-02-03 AT 09:02 PM (GMT)]Everywhere has been closed at MAN following the threat this week exept the Aviation Viewing Park which remains open with extra security (for the time being).
It seems anywhere you are near to aircraft has been closed all around the coutry, BHX is the same and obviously Heathrow (Queens building viewing area closed).
I spent the day at EMA without problem though.
I’ve got a few guides to airports on my website and a comments section at the bottom of each, I’ve left a comment regarding the situation as I know it in the appropriate guide.
