Breaking news. Iberia has made up his mind for the B747-200 replacement at last. No B747-400, no B777, but A340-600. The reasons…..more freight capacity ideal for South American markets and high density to Canary islands where there are huge volumes of cargo. The B747-400 had been discarged some weeks ago, due to it was too big for Iberia. But I think Iberia will need it for some South American routes, like Havanna, Buenos Aires and Mexico. Probably the A380?.
