Ryanair has today given details about their new routes. Starting from 30th April 2003 flights will start to:
Pau, France – Daily
Reims, France – Daily
Dusseldorf – Niederrhein – Twice Daily
Maastrict, Netherlands – Daily
Haugesund, Norway – Daily
Flights will also increase to :
Milan Bergamo
Gerona – Barcelona
Rome Ciampino
Frankfurt Hahn
Strasbourg
Bologna – Forli
Kerry
Hamburg Lubeck
Turin
Venice Treviso
Stockholm
This brings 49 destinations available from London Stansted altogether.

Reims and Pau seem good, popular destinations. Reims has that very nice cathedral and nice historical buildings, an obvious pull factor for tourism. Pau is quite good for the Pyrénéses and also Lourdes.

Phew… 49 destinations from one airport? I guess it’s going to be tough competition between Ryanair and easyJet once the easyJet-Go takeover is complete and such a move is necessary.
