Easyjet A320?

Am I mad (it’s quite possible) or have I just seen an Easyjet A320 on approach to Luton. I only saw it from underneath, but it was definately too long to be a 737-300 or 700.

HELP….

RE: Easyjet A320?

are easyjet hiding something?

If you dont me saying so, placing it on scheduled flights in the network is probably not the best way of hiding an easyJet liveried airbus!!!

lol

RE: Easyjet A320?

Yep probably was MYT, they have orange engines and a blob of orange on the bottom part of the tail. Its very unlikely that it was an EasyJet aircraft.

MyTravel does sound better, don’t think the A319’s are due till June and then they’ll be operating from Geneva first I think. MyTravel have a couple of 757’s and A320’s painted so I’d also guess at that.

RE: Easyjet A320?

My Travel seems a good explanation. It’s not impossible that it was an Easyjet (I mean, us lot are not exactly privy to all their fleet planning decisions!) but probably more likely to be a My Travel aircraft.

RE: Easyjet A320?

Search airliners.net if someone has taken a photo of it then it will be on their. But why paint a leased aircraft they are using for training?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-01-03 AT 04:46 PM (GMT)]Maybe it was MYT? They have a similar orange colour to EZY on their livery and they do operate the A320.

RE: Easyjet A320?

Well, it was white with Bright Orange tail and engines, don’t know anybody else that uses that scheme. I get to see a lot of easyjet on their way into Luton and this one caught my attention because it sounded different. It just didn’t look like a 737. I’ve spent many years photographing airliners so I’d like to think I can tell the difference.

Never mind, must be mad then!

Thanks anyway

RE: Easyjet A320?

they haven’t got 320’s on order, anyway, only 319’s.

If you only saw it from underneath, are you sure it was an EZY jet?

RE: Easyjet A320?

Nope…it cant be…not so soon! Unless they have leased it from some place for training purposes??
