Tampa Bomb scare

Hi all,
even though i’ve been in florida for the last fortnight on my way home we rang BA and asked what time did check-in open? they said 1:30pm so there’s us trapsing over to the airport only to arrive to be told that they don’t open till 4:30pm and as I looked at my mum I feared she would rip the poor girls head off! Then the girl said that the aircraft which left yesterday heading back for gatwick has had some “technical difficulties” and that they were sending a smaller aircraft and that would we like to offload travel to Tampa airport and for the mishap fly club class. ohhh yes please.
7 hours later and were due to take-off on BA 2166 but as there was a bomb scare in the main terminal some passengers were still stuck there. And so we waited and recieved very odd looks from the other club class passengers (probably thinking “I say dear, one does think those people have horrid attire there’s no way they paid for these exclusive seats mwa mwa mwa”) anyhoo we eventually took off on our B777 which the newer high gross version I think?
