Also from the Philippine newspaper I read that the November 11th crash of the Laoag International Airlines Fokker into Manila Bay has been confirmed as due to the failure of the pilot(s) to switch on the fuel. “Fuel switches were confirmed to be in the Closed position”.
Head of the Philippine Air Transportation Office has recommended the revocation of LIA’s 25 year franchise and cancellation of its certificate of public conveyance.
Moves are being made to secure the remaining four aircraft the airline owns to assist in compensation claims against the airline.
(I understand these have already been cannibalised , so are probably not worth a lot.)

I did that in a Flight Sim A320 and the engines would turn on but only for arouns 5mins then wud shut off.
