Hello all,
Just thought I’d show you these. I think I have finally sussed my film scanner. Not bad considering I’ve now had it for 4 months! So some of these may look familiar, although the first time around they were various shades of grey and you couldn’t see much at all.
I scanned in some negatives from when I was up at Heathrow earlier in the year and altered them to give them an interesting finish.
Let me know what you think…
1. Air India 747-400

An Air India 747 lined up on runway 27L(?) for take off. In the background is an aircraft of Air Canada.
2. British Airways 747-400

British Airways 747 shortly before departure. Doesn’t that speeding car look so great – the aircraft isn’t bad either..!!
3. British Airways 777-200

A British Airways 777 at Heathrow.
4. Emirates 777-200

I think the sign in this photograph really adds some character to the whole situation. Of course, what does a puny sign like that mean to such a large aircraft?
5. British Airways 757-200 (and spotters)

Is this anybody from the forum?. This is my favourite photograph. These two people look on at the wonderful 757 of British Airways on it’s way for takeoff.
All images originally in black and white.

Nice T5, is that a line art filter you’re using ? My Casablanca video suite does a similar thing for moving pictures. I did a title sequence for an RAF Leuchars airshow video with it…

Interesting pictures. I especially like the last photo…I think that would make a good painting if it were to be painted in.

Good Stuff, they remind me of pencil drawings, especially the last one.
