EGNM:I think the aircraft leased from Hapag Lloyd was D-AHLA for this years winter season.However,ASA have bought an A310 of Hapag Lloyd (D-AHLC) and it is now in full ASA colours with the new registration being 5Y-VIP I think.

The A310 is a great aircraft, probably the best I have ever flown on. I don’t know why they were not more of a success to be honest.

They lease a few Hapag Lloyd A310s in the busy season – maybee this a/c is an ex Hapag example and is a supplimentary a/c

Bhoy I saw an ASA DC-10 only last year in August at LGW. The Britannia 757 I was on pulled up next to it.

yup, it’s a Kenyan company.
it replaced ASA’s previous DC-10 a couple of years ago.
