I don’t think its silly at all to be honest, easyJet is simply doing something very clever – finding out where potential customers want to fly to rahter than setup routes based on the current market situation and have no-one fly on them.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before but we are very pleased in the North East to have easyJet join us – the only true ‘low-cost’ service at the moment was the go-fly service to Stansed (although obviously, this has now been integrated into the easyNetwork).

The decreasing fares with BA are also now an added bonus but like i said, i’m sure the true ‘low-cost’ airlines will do marginally better.
