Buzz are to expand from bournemouth with 750,000 seats avaiable. They also intend to operate from another UK base and one in mainland Europe by end 2003.

RE: Buzz Expansion
Good luck to them. Over recent years Bournemouth has had its fair share of airline failures, lets hope this will be the start of things to come in this low cost world we are living in.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-11-02 AT 04:39 PM (GMT)]I like the sounds of the flights. Some of them are going to real competition for BA,AF and CB at SOU.However,i’m not really convinced with Bergarac whether that will be a success?

RE: Buzz Expansion
yeah, good news for PIK… although why anyone would want to fly to Bournemouth is beyond me…
must be a decent alternative to BA’s GLA-LGW flights, though…

RE: Buzz expansion
Interesting choice of airport.A bit close to London though in my opinion.I wonder what destinations will be served from there? All the French destinations like Caen and Brest I would say would be unlikely?
Palmair are also starting low cost flights with the 737-200 between Bournemouth and Glasgow.
