just wondering about what I heard when I was speaking to someone at EGLL today and a new low cost long haul airline being setup. does anyone know who it is and where it goes to, and does it have a website. p.s. what aircraft they goona use. i was told they gonna use some 747’s – have they gone mad – do they know how much they cost.

Well how about that?, the very thing I asked forum members opinions on a few days ago ‘low cost long haul’, and it seems like someone is maybe going to take the plunge, be interesting to see how this one turns out.

depends on what type and how they aquire them – i was on a -146 in full economy config ex JAL, and the company operated -267s on lease from Cathey Pacific – so if theres a spare capacity as there is in the US on the 747 classics it might just be the right time to start-up!
