There’s an unsubstantiated rumour that – wonder of wonders – a long moribund airfield is now back in operation. The former LEC refrigeration company airfield on the South Coast adjacent to Bognor (yes, that Bognor made famous by George V as he lay dying and uttered the immortal war cry #ugger Bognor”) is reportedly back in use.
