I was at amsterdam on Saturday 19th October and I was wondering if anyone else was there who knew what the two rear Nortwest 747/400’s were cause the view was blocked by a northwest 747/200.
By the way has anyone noticed once you get airside you can practically walk all where all the gates are and pull all the aircraft you want. good from out point of view but it does raise question marks about security.
if anyone got those aircraft they can e-mail me on:

Thanks

RE: AMSTERDAM AIRPORT
Can’t you do this anywhere? I don’t see how this is a security risk, everyone passes through the same security check point before entering these areas. You think its a greater security risk for you to walk down near gate D just because your flying from gate E (examples), buts its perfectly safe for anyone whos flying from E to walk down there. I thought this was the case at all airports, once past security you can go anywhere?
Only think that was stopped was in US where non-ticketed pax could go down to any gate, but you have to have tickets now.

or crew or staff. by the way the Airport is sectored off, for EU passengers cannot walk to intercontinental gates without valid papers.

RE: AMSTERDAM AIRPORT
Yes, but to get airside, you have to pass through security, and only ticketed passengers are allowed in, anyhow.
