Airline – Management Simulation

Has anybody tried the mangement simulation called Airline? You basically have to control your own airline buying your planes, setting ticket prices and everything right up to setting the times for your flights.

I bought it a few months ago and its a great program, just wondered if anyone here has tried it, its been advertised in the Airliner World mag for the past few months and also on airliners.net recently.

Its a bit easy at the mo but they’re updating it all the time, anyone else have it? If so how are you getting on?

Also, on the Careers section of British Airways’ website they have a mock airport manager situation surrounding the potential redeploymentof a B777 from a foreign location. Fairly interesting.

RE: Airline – Management Simulation

Its $85 (AUD) which sounds a lot but works out at about £30 which is what you’d usually pay for a game really. Upgrades are released about twice a year and cost about £9 each so once you have the CD it only costs about £20 a year to keep getting the new features which seems very reasonable to me.

I’ve spent the afternoon on it again and am very impressed with it so far.

I’ve seen the advert for it in the past two issues of Airliner World.. how much is it? I saw it and thought it was very expensive.
