It’s been away for a few weeks, but now it’s back. ITV1 will be screening Airline again from Tuesday at 7:30pm but it clashes…
…if like me, you watch Eastenders, you’re going to be miffed, but really, there is no competition!

RE: TOP TELLY!
Damn right I didn’t, although as cameramen we’re trained to notice such continuity errors. Mind you we’d all been out the night before and were a little ‘tired’!

RE: TOP TELLY!
Well folks I work as a BBC camera op and this weekend I attended a training course in London, hence my Gatwick query elsewhere. We were given some old Eastenders tapes to view, in order to discuss the lighting techniques. The prog I got was one of those “we’re all off to sunny Spain” specials from a few years back.
Anyway, various shots of the cast in a standard studio interior mockup for the inflight stuff, they cut to a shot of the plane taking off which was stock Boeing PR footage of a 737-300/400 ? in company colours. A few more interior shots were followed up with another shot of the plane landing. This time some even older looking stock of what I think was Dan Air and defo a 200 series!!!
Needless to say I was the only one who noticed.

There’s nothing to stop a charter from going anywhere. We’ve done the odd flight out of LHR, etc.

RE: TOP TELLY!
Didn’t Sonia direct Phil to Stansted to give Lisa extra time?I think Lisa was actually going from Heathrow to Portugal (I could be wrong)

RE: TOP TELLY!
Firstly, may I apologise for the fact that I have suddenyl gone off topic and posted a non aviation related response:
I have nothing against Eastenders, I watched it tonight as did I watch the double bill of Coronation Street.
Did you know Zoé had to go out of it for a bit as she couldn’t cope with the stressful storyline?
Now I’ll add something aviation related: I wonder which airline Lisa flew to Portugal with? She flew from Stansted, so I’m guessing she probably hopped on a JMC flight or something like that?
