RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
Ahhh, that answers a question for me. I had heard that the old SkyTrek Trislanders were back in operation but had no idea under what name.

I just know….Midwest Express DC-9, F100 Montenegro Airlines, B727 Planet World and Sun Express B737. Hard quiz….probably a Loganair Trislander.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-10-02 AT 03:35 PM (GMT)]Just so you all know these are airlines that currently are all in service.
None of them are airlines that are now out of service.
I will give out the answers later on tonight. 🙂

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
Are these more of your own designs and you’re fooling us into believing they are real?!! 😛

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
well, as wyswig said, the last one’s a sunexpress 737, most of them have white tails, but some ex-LH aircraft originally retained the dark blue on the tails.
I’m pretty sure the last one’s a 767, and I know the flag… just can’t remember which country it is. It’ll come to me…

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
ok, they did, then… my mistake (but hey, we’re talking pre80’s here… I was 1 when thet plane was sold)
I had a look on a.net, there are three Loganair Trislanders, but they all have the same livery, and it isn’t that one above…

Having searched on ggogle they seem to have had more than one. Perhaps my jump seat passenger was telling the truth!

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
hmm, had a look at the loganair website, and their brief history dosen’t mention trilanders, though they are a BN Islander operator.

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-10-02 AT 10:47 PM (GMT)]It’s not an Aurigny one. A couple of years ago I carried an ex-LoganAir Trislander pilot on the Saab jump seat from Manch to Guernsey! He might have been lying, he didn’t sound too convincing!! Can anyone verify if LoganAir have ever operated Trislanders?
…and is number 4 a MidWest Express MD80?
By: Bhoy - 2nd October 2002 at 22:19
RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
nah… loganair have had the same scheme as long as I can remember (excluding the BA franchise colours, obviously…) and it ain’t that.
ANyway, they’ve never operated trislanders…
Maybe it’s one of Aurigny’s flying adverts?

RE: Small Challenge…Identify the airlines.
The third one is a Trislander. Is it an old LoganAir scheme?
The second to last looks like a Turkish 737, possibly Sun Express?
