From Monday 07 October Keenair with lauch a complementary link to their Blackpool – IOM route from Liverpool. This service will compete directly with BA on the same route, as Emerald Airways did a few years back (although it was Manx Airlines they were up against). They will be using a Bandeirante for the service which will operate twice daily Monday-Friday.

RE: Competition to IOM
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-10-02 AT 04:52 PM (GMT)]I understand there times are as follows LPL/IOM at 0900, 1545 & 1900 and IOM/LPL at 0800, 1030 and 1700. The price is from £129.oo rtn inc tax. This seems a bit high, I think BA would have some lower fares available. Im not too sure why they are doing this route really, they must have their reasons I guess ! I would have thought they could have improved their LPL/ORK service or thought of somewhere else to link up with.
