I was just looking through a magazine, and this month it is doing a feature on the mile high club…. There was a website to go with it, and being the typical male I am I went to the website… as I went onto the front page, it says follow this to the latest news, so I did.
When I got there, I read that Richard Branson will make it legal on his A380’S for people to become members of this club. Here what the article said:
Virgin Atlantic will allow passengers to join the “mile high club” on its new superjumbos, airline chief Sir Richard Branson says.
Mr Branson says he plans to install double beds and business class for couples on board the Airbus Jets. He annouced this as he plans to buy six of the A380 aircraft.
When asked if the beds were the beds in effect for permitting people to have sex, he answered “yes, i think have mentioned this before. You can do it on Cruise ships and at home, so why not on planes?”
The private cabins would feature plush furnishings, a sofa and washing facilities according to the drawing shown at a press conferance in london.
The first of these 555 seat aircraft is to be delivered to the airline in 2006.
END——————————–
Quite funny story I thought. 🙂
Hope this didn’t offend anyone, sorry if it did 🙁 🙂

RE: Something that made me giggle. lol
In my pre-flightdeck days I spent 9 years as cabin crew for Virgin. When we started flying to Jo’burg it was the first time our company had a route that crossed the equator. The challenge used to be to shag as you crossed the equator and some flightdeck would chime the crew rest areas 10 minutes before hand to get people building up steam (I’m sure for most 10 minutes was too generous!).

YES, IT OFFENDED ME. I’M TOO YOUNG. 🙁 :+
That does seem like a good idea thought – people can say “I lost my virginity on a virgin.” – or whatever.
So many airlines seem to be going towards lower fares and more basic service that it’s nice to see another airline doing the opposite. And hey, if it all goes wrong Branson can sell his other 100 or so companys.
In airliner world it showed pics of the amazing interior with that kool looking bar.
“Keep it up” Branson!
Regards
Luke
