Actually, Kai Tak, Hong Kong!! It was operated by Merpati Nusantara. I’ve got a nice VC-121 somewhere, I’ll post it in the flypast forum once I’ve got it scanned in.

That was actually taken in Argentina back in the late 80’s. Shell USA sponcered a flight around the world which flew from Texas down through Latin America to South America, then over to New Zealand, then to Australia and up through Asia over to Africa then on to Eurpoe through Greece Italy and finally ending up in England.
If you look you can see the Shell company colours along the fuselarge and the Shell symbol on the tail.
