I think Air Belfast was formed as part of a northern ireland peace initiative i think, both with leased BAC1-11s from European Aviation Air Charter, and also flew B733s and had an order in for B737s when the airline folded must have been Autumn/Winter 99?

RE: AB Airlines and Aeris.fr

AB airlines was formaly known a Air Bristol, however,in 1998 it moved in to the low cost market.Air Bristol, before it went bust, had a very sensible and profitable entity,it was a charter airline that had a very lucrative contract to fly shuttle flights between Filton and Toulouse.Every day a BAC 1-11 would fly purely for BAe and Airbus staff between the two factories. Its down turn was when it moved in to Gatwick and became a low cost carrier. Its opening route was between LGW-SNN.The name was changed so it didn’t confuse people(Air Bristol flying from Shannon to Gatwick?!?)Gradually more routes were set up.Its demise was the fact that they were in the wrong place at the qrong time.LGW was BA (At that time anyway)They just couldn’t compete. They weren’t getting the passengers to sustain operations.

Aeris, French charter airline based at Tolouse Blagnac.Operates the 737 and 767 from other airports in France including, Paris, Nantes, Lyon,Brest and Marseille. The company is independent from any tour operator. The 767 is from Britannia.
The livery is nice as well as the website!
