[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-09-02 AT 05:07 PM (GMT)]I don’t care how comman these posts are,so what if members get tired of them!?!?We need a topic that will kick start things again.Its been a terrible few days,we lost the forum for 24 hours which left us all shocked and upset :7 Then we had problems with the new discussion board system :7 There is also the September 11th memorial day,we remember what happened on this terrible day 12 months ago when our hobby and our love was dented when aircraft were used as weapons.Even though we saw such horrible images,we will defy what the terrorists wanted and show that still sooo many people love aviation!

What is your favourite airline logo?
There are a few I like but mine is definitely Virgin’s.Its very recognisable and compared to many airlines logos,looks fun,care free,vibrant and almost sexual!

I’ve always loved the Lufthansa logo, second to that would be the PNG carrier Air Neuginea.
And you all thought I was going to back Qantas, ha

The best tailfin by far, is Norwegian Air Shuttle i think 🙂

Other than that, i like the logos of Aeroflot, Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, DragonAir, Hainan, and Varig 🙂

there are a few i like, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia but out of all my choices i like Air Canada’s logo very nice. Very simple yet very attractive.

The stylized American Flag Logo of USAirways is very subtle, yet classy. That’s probably my favorite. I also like UA’s, LH’s, Condor’s, Singapore’s, Air New Zealand’s, Ansett’s. Looks like a trend towards Star Alliance, perhaps. I also approve of the Aer Lingus shamrock.

In the time I’ve been using this forum I don’t ever recall coming across this topic – maybe naming your favourite colour scheme or aircraft but not logo. 😀
Also, I tried that link, but it didn’t work. After going to Aerosite.net I discovered it should actually be http://www.aerosite.net/logos.htm
I’m a fan of simplicity and like these logos which don’t consist of much: easyJet and jmc are two examples of this.
But to stop being quite so annoying and just to answer the question, my favourite logo is that of “Air Tahiti Nui”.

BTW, excellent site for logos is http://www.aerosite.net/airline.
My favourite is probably Aer Lingus and the Shamrock. The green is pretty unique, followed by Qantas, Singapore, Malaysia and British Airways. Makes me look a bit of a fan of the One World I alliance, hmmm.

Funny that this topic has been brought up, over the last week or so, i have been searching the web fro every airline logo there has ever been, for a project I am doing… so far I have 418!:)
