Dublin Airport expansion plans revealed
The Dublin Airport Authority has announced details of its plans to build a new 50,000sq metre passenger terminal at Dublin Airport.
It would cost between €170million and €200million, be up and running by 2009 and able to handle 15 million passengers a year.
It would be located to the south of the existing terminal and to the rear of the existing Pier C.
The new terminal is the main component of a €1.2bn, ten-year Framework Development Programme aimed at increasing the airport`s operational capacity from current levels of
over 18m passengers per year, to over 30m passengers per year.
