My Farnborough Photos (if not a little late)!

Hi,

Just to let you know that my photos from Farnborough have been uploaded onto the the Internet.

As each of them are in excess of the 70kb limit used on the forum, posting some was impossible.

So to make it slightly easier, I’ve made a site containing all my work which can be found at http://www.mkinghorn.co.uk/farnborough There are 21 photographs at present.

Unforuntately, I have not yet been able to post the A340-500 or Airbus A318 as these have not yet been sent for processing.

Hope you like the site and I’d appreciate some feedback!

RE: My Farnborough Photos (if not a little late)!

One thing I would like to know is how to some people who post pics on Airliners.net etc get really good views of aircraft departign on themonday. From angles of photos and the fact there is a perimeter fence it would mean they would be taking pictures over a very very very long distance (1/5 of a mile i say). They must have got access to the compound as very few cameras can take a good close up 1/5 of a mile away…

Did anyone here know of how to gain access the following day to watch aircraft departing?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-08-02 AT 07:42 PM (GMT)]If you use an SLR try getting them put straight on a CD when you get them processed, I’ve done this and I get two image size options, medium and high, you can then open the largest images and reduce the size of the picture slightly (I use Paint Shop Pro) and this sharpens up the image quality.

Thanks guys,

Sorry about the quality of them. I suppose investing in a digital camera may be the best option because these were taken on my SLR and then scanned in and along the way they’ve lost some detail and also as they’ve been compressed they have lost some quality.

Some nice pics in there mate, particularly like the back-to-front shot of the A340-600, very impressive looking MLG, keep up the good work.
