RE: Amazing!
Sometimes I think the pilots forget to turn on the pressurisation. I had a horrible flight on a Qantas 717 a few months ago – bad ear ache on descent. Two days later I flew on another 717 and it was fine.

RE: Amazing!
I dont find bad flights “bad” I love them and just fin it more interesting than having every go 100% the same every time (i.e. be on time)

T5 – I did my CPL GFT’s and IR at Wycombe Air Centre a few years back. I thought they were very good albeit a bit pricey.

RE: Amazing!
It will be at EGAD as the average price of a PPL is £5000 to £6000 but because Ulster Flying Club own their own airport the cost is reduced to £4000 so all of it will be done in Sunny (cough cough) Northern Ireland!

RE: Amazing!
Congratulations! PPL training is great but can get to become a bit of hard work, lot of ground stuff to do also.
Andrew – are you learning the PPL is this country or going abroard? I’d seriously consider looking at both options, Florida is a great place to fly, cheaper, great weather and you can get it done in a few weeks.
Good luck with the training!

RE: Amazing!
Sounds good..
I am considering starting and it’s quite a pricey hobby. The deal is, my parents will pay the £5,000 or so for me to train for my PPL at Wycombe Air Centre if I go to Uni.
