RE: Tristar Tribute.
STOP PRESS – The TriStar may yet make a return to Gatwick with a new start up called British Carribean!

RE: Tristar Tribute.
Absolutely beautiful, I’ve added the topic to my bookmarks. I never flew on the TriStar, but from a photography point of view I’ve always admired the type, so elegant with a beautifully shaped nose. It is a shame they are now such a rare sight.

RE: Tristar Tribute.
I used to fly LHR-BAH twice a year for about 4 years on the early 80’s. Sometimes BA, sometimes Gulf Air. But always a Tristar!

RE: Tristar Tribute.
The Tristar rules. My favorite aircraft of all time. Pity I only flew on it once(maybe twice?). TW841 JFK-LAX.

Very interesting a/c. Neverthought that it will look amazing. Such a pity that bigger and new a/c is such a popular demand.
Nice Pictures…..great takes too.

RE: Tristar Tribute.
A fantastic selection of Tristar photographs – it’s a shame that it’s time for us to move on to bigger and better things.
The BWIA is still in use on the odd LHR flight and I occasionally see it fly over me but the A340 has taken over most of the flights and will slowly take over the Tristar. They’ve certainly chose a fine replacement for the aircraft though!
