1. Not sure, would guess it has the power, however with low slung engines fod ingetsion would be a problem, however I have seen B732s reverse! So yes.

2. 707/727/737 True, but not the 757 I dont think.

3. All designed by same company (Landor??)

4. 171 – guess.

5. True

6. F-WTSS – F-W is the french pre-delivery / test “B Class” mark.

7. True – the first aeroplane to do so!

Close mate…. can you please answer the true/false questions a little more definatively?

If you are a member of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society, you’d have seen this on the cover of the latest Journal! Arrived with me a couple of days ago, with a multi-page article on it…
Cheers

Look in the upper right hand corner of this post and you’ll see exactly where I’m from. Too my knowledge I don’t know you, but I could be wrong. I have no plans to attend Quonset at this time, however my plans might change at the last minute (there’s an positive maybe). I was at NEAM last summer for a visit and I realize that the back door exits to the display area. It’s still the door in the back, hence my calling it the “backdoor”.

As an aside, I was living in the Broad Brook section of E. Windsor Conn. back in the mid 80’s while attending school. The one activity I was able to afford back then were visits to NEAM and sitting in McDonalds parking lot watching planes take off from Bradley. I absolutely lived for NEAM’s open cockpit weekends. How many museums can you think of that let you crawl around in their aircraft collection.

Hey Warhawk,

Do I know you and do you live In New England. If so are you going to be going to Quonset Air Show. If so we plan on a big gathering at the Museum.

Also the back door is No longer the back door its now officially the exit to the out-door display area. Also the F-89 is about to enter the Paint shop.
