When I was at Cork Airport I saw G-JEDI. I remembered it from the AW issue when British European got someone dressed up as Darth Vader and put him at the door with a lightsabre! Nice-one apart from the fact a Jedi was no-where to be seen!

Didnt even know British Euroepan (flybe) operated BHX to COK (Cork) until I saw the ac!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-08-02 AT 09:19 AM (GMT)]I flew on that exact aircraft,G-BRYJ,to CDG in october of last year.There were leather seats,though there was not much legroom.Compared to the likes of the ATR 72,which I regularly fly on,I found it quite noisy inside the cabin.
I flew back on G-BRYP which did not have the new interior,the seats had been torn and also the seat compartment was falling off,this meant that for the whole journey the inflight magazine kept falling on the floor.

The problems with interior were BA’s problems not Bombardier’s,but I just don’t like the aircraft,something about the shape and also the fact that its all I really see at GCI nowadays,it gets boring after a while.

Brymon’s new Dash 8’s have big leather seats in the cabin and load’s of room, fantastic aircraft to fly on, not so much noise as the 100 series though which is a blessing.
