Official opening

The Queen was in Liverpool yesterday, her first duty was to officially open the new terminal at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. She also met Yoko Ono and the sculptor of the bronze statue of Lennon which is on the first floor of the building. The event went off very well, she then carried on into the city centre for various events, and later in the afernoon to Manchester for the Commonwealth Games.
