[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-07-02 AT 12:06 PM (GMT)]Its flying news but i have heard Iberia was offered B772/773 from Boeing and A345/346 from Airbus for there long-haul fleet renewal in early 2003, and they have zeroed in on the 777s. Any confirmation to this because this was quite a shock to me that they didnt opt for Airbus.

Thats a possibilty they might go for a mix….but still i think they will surely take Airbus.

Iberia always take foolish and unreasonable decission, but I suppose at the end Airbus will be choosen for longhaul or even a mixed combination A340/777. In the future, all Boeing will be phased out.
