Irish News : Two people are feared dead after a light aircraft crashed into the side of a mountain on the Carlow Wexford border.
Emergency services rushed to Mount Leinster after they received a report from a hill walker that a light aircraft crashed there.
A hillwalker reported seeing the aircraft coming down shortly after 4.30pm.
Emergency services and gardai rushed to the scene and located the wreckage. It is now feared that two people have lost their lives following the accident.

It is hard to tell from the pictures at what angle the impact occurred. Certainly high speed.

Photos and names of the deceased. The aircraft was N247P, a C.182. Both of their dogs also died in the crash. From the photos, the crash looks very close to the summit. R.I.P.
