well a 2 seater child buggy would go in the cargo hold,so it could have been airport handling at the airport of departure,they throw things around without to much care!!

SriLankan is not the “sister” company of Emirates. 51% of SriLankan Airlines is owned by the government of Sri Lanka and Emirates has equity in 49% of the airline.

I read somewhere that Emirates will be flying to North America from next year. I have been on Emirates several times and it is by far the best airline in the world.

bog-standard!!! He said most of the cabin crew were all right but some on the way out and back wouldnt exactly bother themselves to help passengers and on the way out while claiming baggae at Dubai a passenger, not the friend of the faimly, was complaining that Emirates had broken a two seater buggy for this two children when it was in the plane. He wasnt aparently being nasty or anything but the ground staff just walked away and ignored him!!!

Air base is Dubai,I have shared flat which i use in DXB when i am on roster,When i am on operational duty it is normally a hotel room,when i am not on operational duty,I fly home to Perth,Hence the large amount of Perth-Singapore legs in the flight log.We have about 2 weeks on 2 weeks off,so it works well,I hope to be based in Perth from September,for obvious reasons.

They are major sponsor’s of a number of major sporting teams.Including Collingwood FC in Australia,The Melbourne Cup,Cricket’s world cup and many other team’s and events.No plans for the USA as yet,only Osaka and Perth.

Emirates has little (if any?) action in the U.S. and they don’t fly to LAX. Perhaps I shall fly them from Athens to Dubai sometime in the distant future. I have heard nothing but good things about them (and Dubai). I have a Chelsea soccer jersey that has “Fly Emirates” on it. Does that count for anything?
